1986 Fernandes Robbin Crosby Signature Guitar

This is a vintage 1986 Robbin Crosby Signature Fernandes. The body is made from soft maple and it is said that the paint was specially formulated to match the primer-ish paint that Jackson used on Robbins guitars.

Every one of the early versions of these we've seen in the used market has paint "checking". That is... that the paint is cracking or separating from the wood underneath from age. yet the guitar has NO cracks in the wood anywhere.

Very few of these guitars have surfaced over the decades unlike other Fernandes signature models, The Fernandes Robbin Crosby Signature was manufactured in very small numbers for a very short time. Its a collectors item. This one is a sought after color and has the original Fernandes Head Crasher Tremolo that can be swapped out with any Floyd Rose. Its got an awesome 3-piece maple neck thats build type can bee seen through the paint. The fretboard is a high grade of rosewood with absolutely awesome white binding.
